Mississippi shooting: Six dead across three locations in Clay County; suspect in custody

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said in a Facebook post that “multiple innocent lives” were lost “due to violence” in the town of West Point, which lies near the Alabama border. The sheriff said a suspect was in custody and there was no ongoing threat to the public.
